The brand


PT intend to show a deeper level of clothing, where the materials and forms arouse a special feeling in the costumer. The inspiration came from the behaviour and clothing preferences of autistic people. With the help of innovative patterns and fabrics we create the new perception of our clothes, which allows the materials and forms to convey an extra meaning. The brand’s message is to raise attention on social inequality and conscious shopping.

In 2014 Daniel Szalkai graduated from the Moholy-Nagy Art University as a product designer. His diploma project was the first version of PT, which consisted of 6 different type of textile products. Thanks to the unusual design elements and visual it has generated wide interest and delivered several honours. Daniel won the Hungarian Design Award 2015 in Student Category and at the Highlights of Hungary 2016 competition the project was shortlisted amongst the best10 and received InStyle Hungary’s special prize.

In 2017 supported by the Autistic Foundation of Miskolc the PT expanded with Zita Merényi textile designer (Provo-CUT, OpenUp) and Eszter Szász design and brand manager(Maacraft). With this extended team we aim to exploit the opportunities of PT and work for our common goal.

Our goal is to destroy the borders among different people with the help of fashion.
